Michalski, Chester Eugene (Chet) was born in Cohoes, NY. on Sep. 23, 1927 and passed away peacefully at Verdugo Hills Hospital in Glendale, CA. on May 6th, 2012.
Chet retired from General Electric and prior owner of Center Locksmith Company. He was a Navy veteran and active member of the Sunland/Tujunga Elks #2098 and past Charter Member and past Ex-halted Ruler. He loved to travel, play golf and make everyone laugh.
Chet will be deeply missed by wife Betty, daughter Andrea Ketner of Clare, Michigan, brother Donald (Dawn) Michalski of Cohoes, New York, sisters Lorraine (Edward) Kardas of Troy, New York, and Helen (Marcel) Roberts of Florida, grandsons Blake and Jim, step-daughter Lora and step-granddaughter Sherry, and 5 great-grandchildren, he is predeceased by his sister Jean Di Virgilio.
His sense of humor and ability to make everyone laugh will be deeply missed.
Memorial Mass will be held in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Tujunga, CA. on May 11th at 10:00am. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 11, 2012 at the Sunland/Tujunga Elks Lodge #2098 at 10137 Commerce Ave., Tujunga, CA. at 12:30 p.m.
