I remember Bernice as always being such a classy lady with a smile on her face. She was my mom's cousin through her marriage to Bob. As kids, my sisters and I loved visiting their home in La Canada and admiring the aqua blue eaves and trim, as well their gigantic backyard. We knew how much Dutchess, their first dog, and then Bobbie meant to them. It is comforting to know both Bernice and Bob are together again in heaven.

Our hearts are saddened by the loss of Bernice but our last memories are happy ones. We had the pleasure of spending time on a rare family vacation in Arizona with her. Bernice, her cousins-in-law Doll, Babe and Al along with Tom and I and my sister, brother-in-law and brother all got together for some quality time and a lot of fun. I'm happy to remember her as she was at that time. She was a sweet lady and will be missed. I believe she has been reunited with the love of her life Bob. Rest in peace dear cousin.

And so it ends my dear Bernice. You were so far away...but so many great memories nontheless. With grace, dignity, kindness and class, you left them in awe of your charm and character til the end. I raise my last CC and water to you with fond memories of these places and things we shared together: Melrose St, Melville St, SkyDome, Mike's Cadillac, Strabane, Skit-Skat, Vegas, Chicago, Baby Duck, numerous weddings, some divorces, Frisco, Mustang Convertibles, The Dodgers, Peaches and Cream, Montreal, Temagami, Cherry Vanilla Ice Cream, The Arbour, "Hair", Niagara on The Lake, Palm Springs, spilling Caesar's making snow angels, Proctor Blvd, your horrible ham sandwiches, Jim and Doug's northern retreats, and so many rum and cokes with Coop. There are volumes of photos, hours and hours of anecdotal incidents, but they're not really required because everyone you met or knew will remember you with love forever. God Bless.
