Edward “Eduardo” M. Aguero, 79, of Los Angeles, California passed away on December 5, 2020 in Los Angeles after a brief illness. Eduardo was born to Edward and Maria Luiza (Montez)Aguero on December 30, 1940, in San Antonio, Texas. He relocated to Los Angeles in his late teens where he held various employment, including hair stylist and security patrolman for 17 years in the Echo Park and Los Feliz areas of Los Angeles. He successfully completed Security Officer Training at the Firearms Training Academy and Rio Hondo College, including the Fire Department’s official Community Emergency Response Team training.
Music was within Eduardo’s heart and soul. He was a natural musician on the viola da gamba, lute, oud, recorders, Greek bouzouki, Russian balalaika, and Flamenco guitar. Flamenco (oldtime traditional gypsy style) was his main passion, protégé of the great Geronimo Villarino and Chinin de Triana.
Eduardo loved reading books on European history, Renaissance art, and Baroque music, expressing his heartfelt feelings playing the bass gamba. He also enjoyed novels of the Old West, wearing western attire, and horseback riding. He was an excellent cook who was fond of the grill.
Eduardo exhibited a good sense of humor to brighten your day. He was a loving and caring person to friends and deeply devoted to family and will be greatly missed – always in our hearts.
Eduardo was married to Geraldine Johnson at the Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church in Yonkers, New York on September 28, 1969.
Eduardo is survived by his two sons, Sandro and Adam, and by daughter-in-law Jana, wife to Sandro, and step-granddaughters Serenity and Mia; also survived by the mother of his children, Geraldine “Gerry” (Johnson) Aguero.

-Short Poem in Rememberance of Edward M. Aguero-
Remember Me
Copyright by: Anthony Dowson
Speak of me as you have always done.
Remember the good times, laughter, and fun.
Share the happy memories we've made.
Do not let them wither or fade.
I'll be with you in the summer's sun
And when the winter's chill has come.
I'll be the voice that whispers in the breeze.
I'm peaceful now, put your mind at ease.
I've rested my eyes and gone to sleep,
But memories we've shared are yours to keep.
Sometimes our final days may be a test,
But remember me when I was at my best.
Although things may not be the same,
Don't be afraid to use my name.
Let your sorrow last for just a while.
Comfort each other and try to smile.
I've lived a life filled with joy and fun.
Live on now, make me proud of what you'll become.
