Obituary of Alice Louise Adams-Westendar

Obituary for Alice Louise Adams-Westendar April 6th, 1929 ~ July 3rd, 2020 Mrs. Alice Louise Adams-Westendar was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 06, 1929 to Ms. Ethel Dutton. On July 03, 2020 at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital in Glendale, California Alice passed away. In the Spring of 1970, Alice married her beloved Raymond Bell Adams. While Alice was with us she accomplished much in her lifetime. One of those was attending Joan of Arc Catholic School in New Orleans, Louisiana. Years following that, her attentions were turned to motherhood with the birth of her only child, Jeanne Marie Gethers. As time moved on other interests in life arose such as traveling which was a important part of Alices' life, a few of her travels led her to Gulfport Mississippi, Ohio, Washington, and then West to California where she was able to achieve the Title L.V.N (Licensed Vocational Nurse) which she wore with pride. Mrs. Adams was also proud to have completed Seminary School. When Alice was not busy working in Health Care she had a passion for the Poppies and other flowers that grew in California City, California. Alice leaves behind: Bobby Nails (Sister), Jeanne Gethers-Ehlers and Dr. William A. Ehlers(Daughter and Son in Law), Ilona Irving, Terri Irving, Tabatha Irving, also Sarah Ehlers (Grand Daughters/Daughter), Barry Johnson, Albert Ehlers, Andrew Ehlers and William Ehlers (Grand Sons) along with 9 Grand Children, 7 Great Grand Children plus 5 Nieces and 2 Nephews and the many cousins and friends. Her family will be having a private Celebration of Life for Alice Louise Adams at a later date.
