Alexander Kirkaldy 92, born in Mt. Kisco, N.Y. on January 5, 1928, passed away on March 22, 2020. Son of Alexander and Elizabeth Kirkaldy. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Teresa Kirkaldy, son Keith Kevin (Joyce), grandsons, Keith James (Hannalore), Kevin Alexander (Emily) and Jason Christopher Kirkaldy, great-grandchildren, Caroline, Kevin Sawyer and Jocelyn Kirkaldy. Alex served with pride in the Army Air Corp during World War II and re-enlisted in the US Air Force during the Korean War as a microwave/radar technician. Alex volunteered with the LA County Sheriff's Montrose Search and Rescue Team for 35 years. He also volunteered for Glendale Mayor's Committee for the Handicapped (ADA), American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, La Canada AM Kiwanis and Brother's Helpers preparing food to be served downtown Los Angeles to those in need. He loved serving his fellow man. Enjoyed working on his 1939 Ford Roadster (Hot Rod) and being a member of the Jewel City Model A Ford Club and Early Rodders of La Canada. Alex loved God, his family, many relatives and his many friends, and he would have said "what a life and well lived".
