Obituary of Luis C. Aguilar

Luis C. Aguilar was born in Chula Vista, California on August 2, 1971.  He passed away on March 22, 2019, at age 47.  Rosary and mass services will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 7344 Apperson Street, Tujunga, CA.  91042.  A rosary will be held on April 4, 2019, at 7 p.m.  Mass will be held on April 5, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. with burial services immediately following at Hollywood Hills Forest Lawn Cemetery, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, CA. 90068.

Luis was an amazing husband, father, son, brother and friend.  He had a beautiful smile, passion for music, a great sense of humor and style, loved to travel, huge Dodgers fan, and was extremely devoted to his family.  He fought a heroic battle with lung cancer after a bilateral lung  transplant and departed to eternal rest at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center with a room full of family at his bedside.

He is survived by his wife, Delia, two sons, Adrian and Andrew, mother, Maria Puente, stepfather, Jesus Puente, brother, Edmundo M. Aguilar, sister, Patty Aguilar and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and extended family that all loved him dearly.
