It is with great sorrow that I am sending my condolences on your recent loss. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I and would like to share a scripture that has benefited me and many people in time of grief. God reassures us of something wonderful in the Bible at Acts 24:15. It says, "There is going to be a resurrection." Along with God's promise to us at Revelation 21:3, 4 of sorrow, death, and pain being done away with permanently.

My dad was the best father that anyone can imagine! He was an example of what a parent should be and lived his life showing love to his children. He gave good advice and was wise beyond belief. I will miss our talks and the times when we laughed together (and those when we shared our grief). He will be greatly missed.......

I didn't know Ervin very well except through my best friend, his daughter Kathy Kramer. I met him a few times when he was in Boulder and I went out to lunch/dinner with him and Kathy and also with his other daughter Doreen playing Trivia at a club one night and enjoyed his company. It was great to look at the pictures that Kathy uploaded and to have her share some of her personal memories she experienced with him when they had their visits. He seemed to live a very diverse life, and was involved in several things including his life long passion of playing golf, and was blessed to live 98 years of his life. I know he will be dearly missed by all his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, and may Ervin rest in peace.
