In Memory of Liliana Velma Cera
1-20-1929 to 1-16-2017
Our Mother loved listening to old gospel songs and Dixieland music. She had a sharp sense of humor, even in the down times. She was an engaging storyteller of her life experiences.
She was a dancer, entertainer, model, seamstress, costume designer, caretaker, loving mother and in her spare time, she took care of stray dogs, kittens and birds; they just seem to find her. She even took friends into her home, who were down on their luck and helped them out until they got back on their feet.
Mom loved working in her garden, decorating her home and entertaining family and friends.
Grandma, Lillian Dockery, prayed for 50 years for Mom to become a Christian. Her prays were finally answered and Mom read her Bible every night.
Mom is survived by her brother, Nathaniel, who could not be at her service today, February 8, 2017. Her son Brian, daughter Shirley and husband Todd. Her grandsons Scott and Robb, nephews Dale, Nathan and Larry and nieces Glen Ann, Linda and Sue, who also could not attend her service.
Thank you for remembering our Mother, she loved us all.
Love,
Shirley and Brian
