I enjoyed many times chatting with your dad at Shadow events as well as other times when I would run into him when running around town. Sending my sympathy as well as warm thoughts as you endure the loss of what I could see was a really wonderful dad, husband and grandfather.

There is that wonderful smile that I remember so well. Rudy and I went to Crescenta Valley High School together and were the fortunate ones to be in the first graduating class. He was such a "puppy-upper". He was smiling all the time, quick with humor and such a gentle, gentle man. He will be remembered fondly I feel so fortunate to have known he and Sandi. My condolences to his family.

It was an extreme honor to know and love Rudy Ramirez. He made everyone feel like family, and it is a big one! My best memories of him will always be our trips to Dodger Stadium. He loves his Dodgers! I wish they could have pulled off that Series for him but alas, he will have to watch that from higher ground. He was also a loving dad to all us Blue Shadows girls and was always supporting us any way he could. He will be so very, very missed, but I believe he's dancing on air with his one and only, Sandi, and he is happy.

My favorite memory of Rudy and Sandi was their 20th wedding anniversary. They went to Sterlings for some dancing. I happened to be there with Tammy Wickham. We tried to let them celebrate on their own. They wouldn't have it. We had so much fun that night. Rudy certainly did his duty, slinging 3 gals around the dance floor. It is my deepest wish that Rudy and Sandi have reunited and are off dancing into eternity. God bless us all.
