Sallie's obituary reflects an accurate description of her life and character. Here by I would like to express my deep condolences. When the enemy death strikes your grief can be great. Its never the right time to say goodbye to a loved one. Death to many seems to be a part of life. It's during times such as these that we can find comfort in the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:9, 10 . . .‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth'. Only God’s (Psalms 83:18) Kingdom can bring peace, happiness, perfect health, and everlasting life. We can be there to see them enjoy these and other promises made by our Lord for 'the meek ones who will possess the earth...' Psalm 37:11.

She was a tower of strength; a compassionate friend; a loving soul; a most pleasant company; a devoted mother; a wonderful wife; a trusted partner; a delicate flower… In the decades I have known her, I came to appreciate her love of life, her fighting spirit, and her infinite patience. She was inspiring and caring; one of those few people you would immediately like and trust. I was blessed to be in her company numerous times. We shared family news, world news, and funny stories. It was always Jack and Sallie, the three of us often, and at times joined by family, friends, and colleagues. My wife and sons had a special fondness for Sallie. They often mentioned memories of time spent with her and Jack and they deeply mourn her passing. I will miss her beyond words. I will miss her laughter, her selflessness, her answering the phone, her hugs, and her love. And I know that she will live forever in my heart and memories.
