"All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my angel mother." Abraham Lincoln
Born: September 16, 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Died: January 11, 2015 at Villa Scalabrini Special Care Unit in Sun Valley, California.
Theresa was wife to John Biondi (deceased) and is survived by brother Lorenzo Luciano. She was beloved mother to five wonderful children: Dennis, Catherine, Marianne, Julianne and Susan, and their loved ones, Joanne and Jerry. She was Grandmother to John, Steven, Denise, Luke and Rebecca and spouse Andrea. Great Grandmother to Amaya. She was Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Theresa was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She married John in October 1940. She bore her first two children in Cleveland. They moved to California in 1950, where she gave birth to three more daughters. They settled down in the San Fernando Valley and lived there the rest of their lives.
Theresa’s first job was as a page and mail clerk at NBC Radio on Sunset and Vine in Hollywood. At the end of World War II she became a full time mother to raise her children. After they were grown she worked at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Burbank as a dietary supervisor for many years.
She was a devout Catholic and a regular volunteer at St. Jane Frances de Chantal in the food pantry. She selflessly cared for her husband through his illness as well as her mother.
Mom was a fantastic cook and baker. We all loved her meals and treats and the holidays were always a special family event. She loved to read books. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
