Obituary of Gwendolyn Williams

Gwendolyn Williams 5/28/1933 - 12/10/2014 Gwen Williams went to be with the Lord on December 10, 2014. She was born in Glendale Ca., and spent her married life in La Crescenta, Ca. Gwen met her future husband Harry at The Verdugo Hills Swimming Pool in Glendale, Ca. when they were 12 years old. They dated through Jr High and High School in Eagle Rock Ca. They had a 70 year friendship and a 60 year marriage. An exceptional love story. Gwens greatest pleasure was following and participating with her children and grandchildren's adventures in life. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. Gwen is survived by her husband Harry, her son Duane (Gina), her daughter LouAnn (Matt) and grandchildren Rachel, Aaron, Kelly (Eric), Sheena and Sammie. She will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held on January 31, 2015 at 1:00 pm at The First Baptist Church of La Crescenta. 4441 La Crescenta Ave, La Crescenta CA in the downstairs Fellowship Hall. Donations may be made to The Cancer Society, in her honor.
