Obituary of Betty Betsworth

Bettie Rae Betsworth, just 4 days shy of 95, passed away in her home on February 4th. Born in Los Angeles, California on February 7, 1919 she was a long time resident of Sunland California. She graduated from USC and began a long teaching career. Bettie was a kindergarten teacher at Sunland School for the majority of her teaching career. She was a long standing and very active member in the United Methodist Church of Tujunga, California. Bettie is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law. Robert and Anne Betsworth of Tehachapi, CA and William and Angie Betsworth of Tujunga; a grandson and a granddaughter-in- law, Adam and Trixy Betsworth of Riverside, CA and two great grandsons, Noah and Jonah Betsworth. She is also survived by her sister, Norma Hammond of Palmer, Alaska. A memorial service will be held for Bettie at 11am at the United Methodist Church located at 9901 Tujunga Canyon Blvd., Tujunga, CA 91042. The phone number is 818-473-4185.
