Obituary of Nicholas Terry

Nicholas Ronald Terry Sunrise – July 13, 1984- Sunset – July 16, 2013 Nicholas Ronald Terry was born on July 13, 1984 in West Hills, California. He was raised in the San Fernando Valley by his mother. He graduated from Thoreau High School as a valedictorian. Nick worked as a production manager, producing music videos and commercials and aspired to become a filmmaker. He loved his work and mentored production assistants on set, who often hung on his every word. Nick’s hobbies included rock climbing, cycling, skateboarding and slack-lining. He was an avid photographer, reader and sushi lover. He had a gift for making friends easily and his laugh was infectious. Nick had many adventures with his friends, always with a playful spirit. His enthusiasm and ‘can-do’ attitude served him in stressful environments and during times when adversity faced him. He got knocked down sometimes but he always bounced back. His kindness was such that to this day, it’s hard to find anyone with a negative word about him. He is survived by his mother, Jacki Terry, grandparents Ron and Jody Berges, uncle Jeffrey Terry, cousins Cara and Dan Riel, and a host of friends and co-workers. Nick was an amazing light, which will shine on for eternity.
