Uncle Leland, you were one of the most loving and patient men I have ever known. I have wonderful memories of visiting family in California, memories of you and family in Oregon. You took Curtis and me on field trips and taught us about the constellations. There was always lots of laughter, visiting, card games, etc...I loved family trips. I have been blessed with so many wonderful people in my life, and you were definitely one of them. Thank you for all you did, for the example you were to so many and for your gentle spirit.
